Favorite Nolan Ross Line!

I've been re-watching the series and couldn't believe how well written this show was. I fell on the floor when Ross told Aide:

“Rule number 17: No fish for breakfast. Rule number 18: No killing on the premises (rule to be disregarded if my life is in danger). Ah, most importantly, rule number 19: Always give a heads-up call before coming home. I am on the rebound, so bitch, don’t kill my vibe.”

I fell on the floor laughing when he said that!! Bravo Revenge writers!!

Aiden is Victoria's "son" in this episode.

I know this is an old issue, but I recently started watching Revenge for the second time and a lot that I didn't catch before has come to my attention. One is the identity of the man masquerading (lol) as Victoria's firstborn. I'm 98% sure Aiden is the masked man. Here's why: -Aiden's suit is the same as the MM. A classic tuxedo with a black bowtie and the white v-shape. As far as I know, that isn't a common look for a suit. It's interesting enough that it caught my eye when Aiden first appeared at the ball. I'm sure that's what Mike Kelley and the other creators wanted. (Images below) 
-Nolan's greeting to Aiden at 28:33. "Well, well. Every Opera needs its Phantom." Nolan was referring to the Phantom of the Opera, and it's famous half-mask, and because the mask used by the MM (Aiden) is half black and half white. It's also a full-face mask (not traditional for a masquerade) because Victoria could've recognized Aiden in the more common eye mask. Most of us were reeling from the news of Padma's death and this crucial detail was easy to miss. 
-Victoria keeps a close eye on the MM as he moves away and touches the shoulder of the man she believes is her son. We can see from the camera work that she lost sight of him for a second, long enough for Aiden to switch back into the mask he was seen arriving in. The suit also looks the same as the one Aiden's wearing from the back if you watch the MM walk away and Aiden's back comes into view as she approaches him. The only thing that gives me pause is the man Emily smiles at after Victoria faints. He has the same mask, but the suit is different. Maybe Aiden just handed it off? Hope this helps! there is a new version of revenge and it rocks!! links provided

fellow revengers, it is time to rejoice! i kid you not, there has already been a remake of our beloved show Revenge it has two titles, one is venganza 2017 and the other name it goes by is revancha 2017 that began to air in .....you guessed it....2017 . so far 40 episodes have aired with the total planned episode count being 80 (versus the 91 episodes of the old series counting the first chapter and from the beginning specials). whats cool is that each episode is at least an hour long without commercials, some are a full 2 hours and others are somewhere between 1 and 2 hours. awesome job of recreating the plot of each episode from the classic series, though obviously the episode numbers don't match exactly starting with episode 1-which begins with the fire and ice ball like in revenge pilot and then does all the detailed reach stuff that was in the episode legacy. it even features new versions of scenes cut from the first series---i.e. nolan offering charlotte booze at the fundraiser , deleted scenes of david and victoria ,and interaction between childhood versions of jack, amanda and daniel all in the same scene. i found that 30 of those episodes are on youtube to watch and are the actual uncut other than links to places off youtube to watch it--which is saves a lot of frustration i get when looking for episodes of others shows that show up with dozens of click bait links---i digress lol. back to this new version, it is in spanish and takes place in bogota , colombia (as well as being produced there). most of the youtube videos of episodes allow you to turn on Spanish captions or auto-translate in your language of choice. while not 100 % accurate, the auto translate for this particular show is pretty decent rather than gibberish----and truth be told, this remake it so similar to the old show that you wouldn't have to know any spanish to follow exactly whats going on. at least 85% directly faithful to american episodes with minor updates, character name changes, and small cultural appropriations. a few examples being amanda and david clarke are amanda and david santana, and emily thorne is now emilia rivera, ashley is claudia , lydia is lima, nolan is martin, conrad is ramon........emilia has a double infinity necklace rather than tattoo, and jack owns a prized horse called amanda rather than a boat (he does have sammy who is now paco) sorry if I'm rambling, i hope this info helps and ill provide links below. forgive my bad spelling its been a long day. peace y'all episode 1 : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5WbUAAqKy40 and heres a backup for ep. 1 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g4czv_u1JIA and then the playlist will take you to the rest of the episodes on youtube.

... and yet, they have a clam bake for his birthday in "Durress" (1x11), and he uses the excuse of taking Emily out for oysters in "Collusion" (2x12), but no one ever says anything else about it (at least as far in as I am--I'm Netflix binging on it, and thi is as far as I've gotten so far). I know Tyler is the one who told Emily that Daniel was allergic; was that just another means of trying to be in control, or did I miss something???
